Football

Baylor University’s football program is one of the most competitive in the nation. The Bears have won conference championships and made appearances in Bowl games. They have also produced a number of NFL players.

Men’s Basketball

Baylor University’s men’s basketball team has a long and storied history dating back to 1907. The Bears have won 3 NCAA National Championships, appeared in 20 NCAA Final Fours, and have produced 47 All-Americans. Baylor University’s men’s basketball team is currently coached by Scott Drew and plays its home games at the Ferrell Center.

Women’s Basketball

Baylor University has a long and successful history in women’s basketball. The Lady Bears have won eight NCAA Division I national championships, more than any other school in the nation. They have also appeared in the Final Four 22 times, also more than any other school in the nation. In addition to their success on the court, the Lady Bears have also produced numerous Olympians and professional players.

Baseball

Baylor University’s athletic teams are known as the Baylor Bears. The university is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I and the Big 12 Conference. Baylor University sponsors 19 varsity athletic teams, including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, gymnastics, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. The university is also home to the Baylor Bears Equestrian program.

Softball

Baylor University’s softball team began play in 1975 and has since won twelve conference championships. The team has also made thirteen appearances in the NCAA tournament, most recently in 2019.

Soccer

Baylor University has a number of intramural and intercollegiate sports teams. The intercollegiate teams compete in the NCAA’s Division I. Baylor’s men’s sports teams are nicknamed the Bears, while the women’s teams are called the Lady Bears. The school colors are green and gold.

Cross Country

Baylor University has a long and proud history of success in cross country. Dating back to the early days of the program, the Bears have been one of the nation’s most successful teams, winning multiple national titles and producing many All-Americans.

The Baylor cross country team is coached by Todd Harbour, who has been at the helm of the program since 2006. Under Harbour’s leadership, the Bears have won five conference championships and made eight NCAA Championship appearances. The team has also produced 17 All-Americans during Harbour’s tenure.

Baylor’s cross country program is based out of the Michael D. Riley Track & Soccer Stadium, which is located on the university’s campus in Waco, Texas. The facility features a 8,000-meter course that has been ranked as one of the nation’s best by multiple publications.

The Bears have a rich tradition of success in cross country, and they continue to be one of the sport’s premier programs.
